All interested local organizations should complete the form (see the link in the attachment) with all of the requested information. Please note, USAID defines local organization/entity as an organization that: Is legally organized under the laws of a country that is receiving assistance from USAID; Has its principal place of business or operations in a country receiving assistance from USAID; Is majority-owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of a country receiving assistance from USAID; and Is managed by a governing body, the majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of a country receiving assistance from USAID. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and in no way obligates the U.S. Government to issue an RFP/NOFO and/or award a contract/grant or pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at grants.gov or sam.gov .
