Conduct a frequency domain helicopter electromagnetic (HEM-FDEM) and magnetic survey for Mt. St. Helens, WA

The U.S. Geological Survey, Crustal Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center has a requirement for conducting a frequency domain helicopter electromagnetic (HEM-FDEM) and magnetic survey of the study area in the vicinity of and includes Mt. St. Helens, WA to provide digitally recorded and processed airborne data. The requirement is for a minimum of 94 line miles (150 kilometers), with up to an additional 370 line miles (600 kilometers). Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Lakewood, Colorado. It is anticipated that RFQ 11CRQQ0007 will be available on or after October 29, 2010 at the following web address: http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the RFQ electronically until November 5, 2010. Offerors are hereby notified that the U.S. Geological Survey is changing its automated procurement system. As a result of this, after November 5, 2010 this solicitation will no longer be available on the IDEAS-EC website. Therefore, offerors should contact the Contracting Officer for a copy of the solicitation and any amendments after November 5, 2010. Also, offerors are strongly advised to check with the Contracting Officer frequently to find out if any amendments to the solicitation have been issued. Only written responses received by the due date will be accepted. An original plus three (3) written copies of the quote/proposal will be requested. No Electronic Commerce (EC) quotes/proposals.
