T -- Subscription to MacroMonitor

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of The Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis from SRI Consulting Business Intelligence, 333 Ravenswood Avenue, Menio Park, CA, 94025, subscription renewal for the 2006-2007 MacroMonitor Financial-Services Database. In August 2005, Public Debt advertised in FedBizOpps our intent to issue a solicitation for Access to Syndicated U.S. Treasury Securities Customer Information and Trends. Under competitive procurement procedures, SRI Consulting Business Intelligence, a small business, was awarded the contract on purchase order number TPD-BPD-05-00556. This subscription renewal is a follow on to that award. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Written responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the requirement, and shall include proof of distributorship of brand name only item, at terms more advantageous to the Government. Public Debt will consider all written responses received no later than 2:00 p.m. EDT, August 15, 2006. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to SRI Consulting Business Intelligence.
