The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority (ARRA) to continue layberthing services for approximately eight vessels (no. may vary) in Alameda, CA under Contract DTMA9197C00004. The contract expired April 30, 2002. MARAD intends to extend to the contract for two months with either 5 additional two-month options or 10 additional one-month options.
