N--Wi-Fi Installation at Windward Loop, Joint Task Forces, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

This is a Source Sought announcement to be used for market research purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the knowledge and capability to provide and install Wireless Mesh Network (Wi-Fi) at Windward Loop, Joint Task Forces Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Interested sources shall be able to provide a technical approach, CISCO hardware, software and professional services for wireless NIPRNet to Windward Loop housing area. To ensure security of the access point, the appropriate security protocols must be established. Proper maintenance and upkeep measures including functionality and security must be documented. The system should have the ability to expand in the future over a larger area as desired. No proposal is requested or accepted from this synopsis. Interested sources are requested to indicate in the response to this sources sought whether they sell the items listed above, or if they sell an equal product that has the same capability. All information submitted will be used to determine where to procure the stated services and if a brand-name justification is necessary or if there is equal software in the market with the same capabilities. Therefore, the information provided shall include the necessary detail, data, and complete explanation of the current capabilities and where the technology will be in the near future to enable the Government to make that determination. The Government reserves the right to ask follow-up questions and engage in discussions with each respondent as part of the market research effort. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this request for information or any follow up information requests. No Calls will be accepted.
