THE SPECIAL NOTICE IS CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRIETY AND A 6-MONTH BRIDGE CONTRACT WILL BE ISSUED IN THE INTERM UNTIL A FULL COMPETETIVE SOLICITATION CAN BE SOLICITED AND AWARDED The Billings Area Indian Health Service (BAIHS), Division of Acquisition Policy, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to UptoDate Inc. (Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc.) for online point of care and clinical reference medical subscription services "UptoDate Anywhere". Estimated contract award to be $283,448.00. NAICS 511120 applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor will provide evidence based guidance for procedures and nursing clinical decision support for a 5-year life cycle. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated equipment/services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 10:00 am on January 3, 2022. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
