Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Maintenance Service for BD Biosciences FACSymphony A5 Flow Cytometer and its Associated Instrumentation

SEE ATTACHED PDF The Vaccine Branch Cytometry Core within the Center for Cancer Research (CCR) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires preventative maintenance and emergency services for its BD Biosciences FACSymphony A5 Flow Cytometer and associated instrumentation used for translational studies. The Office of Acquisitions (OA) plans to procure, on a sole source basis, maintenance services for this specialized confocal microscope from Becton, Dickinson and Company (2350 Qume Drive San Jose, CA 95131). The response close date of this notice for this requirement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 – Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial acquisitions.
