Description: The North Texas Veterans Health Care System (VANTHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Premiere Inc. This proposed contract action is for the continuation of the SetNet Infection Control annual subscription services for 10 users, 50 event detection reports, Premiere (Cereplex) Library of scheduled and real-time reports, anti-biogram package, 100 hours of new report requests, and web-based helpdesk support. The Government intends to accomplish this by utilizing commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, of other than full and open competition. NAICS Code is 519190. The small business size standard is $6.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. The VA believes that Premiere Inc is the only company that can provide these services. However, any firm that believes it can meet all requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by September 18, 2007. Support evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses that are received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VANTHCS will proceed with the sole source procurement with Premiere Inc for the above services.
