Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Ann Arbor Medical Center, VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 517210. The vendor will be American Messaging Services LLC, 1720 Lakepointe Dr. Ste 100, Lewisville, TX, 75057-6425. Description of requirements: The requirement for pager system that is used at the VA Indianapolis, IN that participates with other hospitals on Indiana University, Perdue University campus, including Clarian Health, Eskanizi Health Services, and Indiana University School of Medicine. All locations use the same system from American Messaging paging service and provide information to patients receiving service on the different campuses. A firm fixed price contract with 4 option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
