Small Satellite Based Secure Communications Through Entangled Quantum Key Distribution

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY – 4 April 2021 Contract Announcement Auburn University located in Auburn, Alabama is being awarded a cost type contract. The total value of this contract, including unexercised options, is $572,007. Under this new contract, the contractor will study the feasibility of creating a small satellite (CubeSat) based entangled photon source with multi-target tracking and portable optical ground stations for secure communication links. The work will be performed in Auburn, Alabama. The period of performance is 12 months, with two options periods at 12 months each.
