Description

A firm-fixed price, sole source contract was awarded to The Geneva Foundation under the authority as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1 -- Only one responsible source. The Geneva Foundation is the only vendor with demonstrated skills, knowledge, and abilities associated with phenotypic drug screening against BSL-3 viral pathogens using the Opera high content imaging system, affiliated liquid handling instruments, and data analysis programs and workflow. Additionally, The Geneva Foundation is the only vendor with active participants in USAMRIID’s BPRP enabling immediate access to the containment suites. Further, due to the critical need to continue the high content screening capability at USAMRIID, The Geneva Foundation is the only vendor capable of providing the services needed to meet the government’s need.
