The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) intends to sole source to: Sprint Communications 12502 Sunrise Valley Drive Reston, VA 20196 The purpose of this requirement is to acquire services for Relay Caption Service for 508 Compliance (TTY, Captioned Telephone Service, Speech to Speech, IP Relay Service, Video Relay Service, and Relay Conference Captioning). Federal Relay was established by Congress under Public Law 100-542, the Telecommunications Accessibility Act of 1988, provides an intermediary telecommunications service for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, and/or have speech disabilities, including federal employees, for communications with and within the Federal Government. Sprint is currently the GSA contract holder and requests that each agency submit a task order for Federal Relay Service. The period of performance is 12 months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government as to whether or not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
