DF10--Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK) Follow-on

NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Center Intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc. 100 Quannapowitt Pkwy Ste 405, Wakefield, MA 01880 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The BPA s anticipated effective date is March 1, 2021 for a five-year ordering period. This BPA is for the continued usage of ongoing support required to maintain functionality and operations of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK), which uses Anesthesia Manager a PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc. software and hardware application. PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc. software and hardware are proprietary. This requirement will continue the maintenance of the existing CIS and ARK services including software updates, upgrades, scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, technical support, data base administration support and training. The NAICS code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services with a small business size standard of $30 Million. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
