Hanscom AFB Cleaning and Pumping of Oil/Water Separator

66 ABG/ CEOS requires annual testing and cleaning of the Oil Water Separators (OWS) on Hanscom, AFB. The cleanings will ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently. If the OWS are not cleaned annually it could lead to damaged or clogged OWS, resulting in oil leaking out of the OWS. Work to be performed under this contract shall include visual inspections of the oil/water separators to determine whether the oil/water separators are functioning properly; cleaning the oil/water separators to remove any build-up of oil or other waste liquids or solids which may have accumulated in the grit chamber or separated holding areas to include inside and outside troughs at Buildings 1608, 1642, 1700, 1720, 1721, 1818, and 1855; testing the waste solids removed from the oil/water separators; and disposing the waste liquids and solids removed from the oil/water separators, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes; and filling of oil/water separators to proper level with water.
