C-17 Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Tool and Annual Database (DB) Sustainment

This is an award notice for a requirement for C-17 Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Tool and Database (DB) Sustainment. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a firm fixed price contract for supporting C-17 TAWS Tool and DB sustainment and maintenance, to include mandated software development and testing activities in support of fielded operational Air Mobility Command (AMC) C-17 missions. The Government awarded this contract as a sole source procurement. Period of Performance: 6 months with 2 3-month Options This contract was awarded on 12/17/2019 on a sole source basis to Jacobs Technology, Inc., CAGE 7W309, due to the fact that Jacobs is the sole C-17 TAWS Tool and DB developer and is currently the only source who can satisfy Air Force (AF) requirements. Responsible sources were allowed to submit a capability statement for consideration.
