Propulsor 1A and Leading Edge Ring Repair

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermedite Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) awarded this firm-fixed-price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This fixed price supply contract was awarded to Defense Maritime Solutions, Inc. (Wartsila Defense, Inc.), to repair the 1A Propulsor and Leading Edge Ring on a Virginia-class submarine. Competition was limited to DMS (Wartsila Defense, Inc.), as they are the known source for this requirement.
