Kuwait KC-130J Aircraft and Common Support Equipment Maintenance and Logistics Support

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207) awarded a sole source contract to Vertex Aerospace, LLC. The contract includes one (1) five-year ordering period. The contract also includes the option to extend services by six (6) additional months per FAR 52.217-8. The contract provides for organizational “O” level and authorized Intermediate “I” level maintenance, Intermediate and commercial repair of Common Support Equipment, and potential aircraft modifications in support of the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) KC-130J Program. The contract also includes Over and Above Labor and Materiel Support, Travel and Per Diem, Flight Hour Surge Support, Base Relocation Support, Base Site Operations Phase-Out Support, monitoring of Cyber Security systems used in support of the requirement, and Techncial Data Support. This sole source acquisition was procured under the authority of FAR 6.302-4, "International Agreement." This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for the country of Kuwait. Kuwait has directed that this requirement be procured through sole source using Vertex Aerospace, LLC. as the contractor.
