Description
BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair (BAE), San Diego, CA is being awarded a $90,267,436 firm-fixed price contract for the execution of the USS SAN DIEGO (LPD 22) Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS SAN DIEGO (LPD 22). This is a “long-term” docking availability and was solicited on a coast-wide (West Coast) basis without limiting the place of performance to the vessel’s homeport. BAE will provide the facilities and human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization for USS SAN DIEGO (LPD 22). This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $104,893,477. Work will be performed in San Diego, CA and is expected to be completed by November 2022. This contract was competitively awarded using full and open competition via beta.SAM.gov. One (1) offer was received for the USS SAN DIEGO (LPD 22) FY21 DSRA in response to Solicitation No. N00024-21-R-4442. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-21-C-4442).
