Post-Award Synopsis: Engineering Integrated Logistics Support for the T-45 Digital Data Set (DDS)

Physical Optics Corp., Torrance, California, is awarded a $52,088,364.70 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract provides technical support and problem resolution by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in support of integration and sustainment of the Digital Data Set system into the T-45 aircraft. Work will be performed in Torrance, California, and is expected to be completed in May 2024. No funds will be obligated at time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(5) and 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(5), and as implemented by FAR 6.302-5. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity. No justification and approval is necessary as this is a SBIR Phase III contract that derived from, extends, or completes efforts made under prior SBIR/STTR Phase I or II awards and is authorized by 15 U.S.C.638(r)(4).
