By participating in this course, DCMA personnel will gain a deeper understanding of the defense industry and develop essential skills to negotiate favorable outcomes for the government. UVA is uniquely positioned to provide this tailored course that meets specific needs of the DCMA. This tailored approach is particularly relevant for DCMA employees holding leadership positions, including Deputy Commanders, who are equivalent to GS-13/14 (O-4/O-5) ranks. UVA Darden has a 52-year history of successfully developing and delivering impactful training programs for the DoD. Their Insights into Industry Management course has a proven track record of enhancing the Acquisition Workforce’s (AWF) knowledge base and ability to navigate the complexities of government contracting. By limiting sources to the Darden School, DCMA can leverage a customized program that addresses the distinct requirements and challenges of its senior personnel, ultimately enhancing their industry management expertise and leadership capabilities.
