Elevator Repairs Building 3220, NAS Pensacola, FL

The Government awarded a firm-fixed price construction contract to Yerkes South (CAGE 7AB71) to make repairs and/or replace a freight elevator at Bldg 3220, NAS Pensacola, FL, per the technical requirements as detailed in the Plans & Specifications. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis under FAR Subpart 19.8, Contracting with the SBA (The 8(a) Program). In accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(4), since the contract action is expressly authorized by statute, a pre-soilicitation notice was not submitted. However, since the contract action may result in the award of subcontracts, this notice of contract award is submitted in accordance with FAR 5.301(a)(1)(ii). An abridged version of the contract is attached to this notice. A full version of the contract can be obtained through the Electronic Data Access (EDA) at the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), in accordance with agency procedures.
