The work consists of constructing a stone spur on the west jetty at Grand Isle; including placing stone and geotextile; bedding construction; and other incidental work. (The estimated time of completion is 80 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed). The solicitation will include 6 drawings and specifications). The estimated magnitude of construction on this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is a UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Construction. This solicitation, W912P822B0019, is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be firm fixed price (FFP). The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 January 2022. The anticipated bid opening date is set for 08 March 2022; however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
