Description
The Hamilton Wetlands Restoration Project (HWRP) is a 648-acre tidal marsh restoration on the former Hamilton Army Air Field in Novato, California. The North Seasonal Wetlands (NSW) are surrounded by the New Hamilton Partnership (NHP) and Bulge Levees to the southw est, the Pacheco Pond Levee to the northw est, and the N-1 Levee to the northeast. The w ork consists of the repair of damage to the NSW berm resulting f rom over-topping and scour. The repair w ill consist of clearing and grubbing, excavation of existing soils, and placement and compaction of engineered fill.
