Tampa Harbor, Maintenance Dredging, 32-Foot Project, Alafia River Channel and Turning Basin, Hillsborough County, Florida

The project work consists of dredging shoal material from the Alafia River Channel and Turning Basin. Material will be disposed into DMPF-3D which is located south of Alafia River Channel. The required project depth is 33 and 34 feet with one foot of allowable overdepth. Site dewatering shall take place at DMPF-3D during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 DREDGING have been met. Work also includes the repair of the north weir outfall pipe on DMPF-3D, environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, bird monitoring, and overall management of disposal operations at DMPF-3D.
