This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as RFP #N5620100008. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Ocmulgee National Monument, located in Macon, Georgia, has a requirement to purchase and install chain link fence and gate materials. The period of performance will be 60 days from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332618 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 37, Services Contracting. STATEMENT OF WORK Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, supplies, services, transportation, and incidentals required to perform the following: Remove approximately 4107 feet of 6' and 10' high chain link fence and posts and two pedestrian and five vehicular gates and remove all material completely from park property. Install approximately 3352 feet of 6' high chain link fence, 1285 feet of 12' high chain link fence, three 20' wide double swing gates, two 10" wide swing gates, and one 12' wide swing gate, and two pedestrian gates along the property line of the park. The new fence will be tied to existng similar fence at two locations. Posts will be placed in the locations of former fence utilizing the same holes. Two short sections will require new holes. These posts will be spaced 10' apart similar to the rest of the fence. Chain link fabric will rest no more than 1/2" from surface. Project will be bid as one complete project consisting of the following five sections, and prospective bidders must bid on all sections: Section A - Drake Field1. Install 3292 feet of 6' high chain link fence2. Install two 20' wide double gates3. Install one pedestrian gate4. Install one pedestrian magnetic gate Section B - Maintenance Yard1. Install 967 feet of 12' high chain link fence topped with razor wire2. Install one 20' wide double gate3. Install one 10' wide gate Section C - Front Gate1. Install one automatic gate Section D - Confederate Way Road1. Install 318 feet of 6' high chain link fence topped with three strands of barbed wire2. Install one 12'wide gate3. Install one 20' wide double gate Section E - River Trail1. Install 60 feet of 6' high chain link fence 2. Install one 10'wide gate Use of all terrain vehicles is recommended for several areas of the proposed fence line.
