R--Collection of biological samples from live caught birds for avian influenza sampling

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7, intends to award a sole source procurement to Troy Ecological Research Association, to collect approximately 200 biological samples from the Yukon Delta Region of Alaska. These samples will be collected from live caught birds by using proper safety precautions, collection of the necessary data along with the samples, ensure that the samples are stored properly until shipping and these samples will be collected by personnel that can answer human health questions related to avian influenza. This note of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals received. Award will be made 15 days after publication of this notice.
