--ScienceDirect and Scopus Subscriptions

The U.S. Geological Survey in Reston, VA intends to award a noncompetitive procurement to Elsevier, B.V. of Amsterdam NLD 1043 NX for the USGS Library in Reston, VA, to provide electronic subscriptions to the Scopus bibliographic citation database and ScienceDirect online journals collected and maintained by the Library. The Scopus database and ScienceDirect is unique in its content and structure and it is not available from other sources in the marketplace. The Period of Performance will be for one base year and four one-year option periods. This is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 511120.
