The United States Geological Survey has established an informational website at http://geodatacontracts.er.usgs.gov/index.html. This website contains frequently asked questions and other current and historical information that may be of interest. An e-mail address has been established for additional questions and is
[email protected]. Only the questions submitted to this e-mail address will be responded to. Submitted questions and their answers will be added to the FAQ after being generalized and having their source information removed. The website also makes available a listing of companies that wish to be considered for subcontracting with other firms with respect to this action. Companies who want to be posted on the web page should also e-mail their request to the e-mail address above. The request should include: company name and address; contact phone number or fax number and e-mail address; and the general types of services offered.
