R--Notice of Intent to Issue a Single Source Award to Tulelake Irrigation District

Ther is no solicitation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR have a requirement for the procurement of pumping costs for the sucker spawning habitat enhancement project in the Lost River below Anderson-Rose Dam in 2006 by Klamath Falls Fish & Wildlife Office, Klamath Falls, OR. Pumping costs will be incurred by Tulelake Irrigation District to attract fish from Tulelake, providing adequate depth and velocities for sucker spawning. No other entity can provide the releases into the Lost River or pump water at Pumping Plant D. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Tulelake Irrigation District. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1.
