F--This procurement requires a replica third order lens restored to the size, shape, and capabiity of the lens used in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore lighthouse.

The National Park Service, WASO, WCP, located in Lakewood, CO intends to negotiate on a sole soure basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with Artworks Florida, PO Box 470123, Celebration, FL 34747. The requirement includes fabrication of a replica Fresnel lens located in the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Seashore lighthouse. The third order lens shall be restored to the size, shape and capability of the lens previously housed int lighthouse. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can provide services that fully neets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation electonically, to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not ot conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
