In accordance with FAR 5.101 the government is hereby posting the following requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely recieved, must by considered by this agency. The National Park Service is soliciting proposals for Architecture and Engineering Services for a project that involves a site investigation, a written report of recommendations and completion of construction documents for the stabilization and reabilitation of two historic sandstone wall overlooks at Cedar Breaks National Monument, UT. The walls range from 1' to 7.5' high and are threatened by vertical cracking, failure of individual stones, erosion at the base of the structure, and lack of adequate drainage. The site visit to perform the site investigation must be completed soon after award due to winter weather conditions of the area. Drawings will be based on approximate measurements. Repairs to the wall itself will be made by the National Park Service and the prep/finishing work will be performed by an outside contractor.
