RECOVERY--Perform Watershed Restoration (Road Removal) Work at Redwood National and State Parks (REDW PMIS 152277)

In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriation provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, intends to issue a Task Order against a previously competed and established Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, No. C8482060008, with Ford Logging, Inc. of McKinleyville, CA. This Task Order is to perform watershed restoration (road removal) work on the A110 and A131 roads and slopes within the Lost Man Creek Watershed at Redwood National and State Parks. The NPS intends to award a firm fixed price Task Order within 3 days of this announcement due to a restricted performance period affected by Threatened and Endangered Species at the work sites. The Task Order will be issued in the amount of $224,985.47 derived from prepriced competitive line items of the IDIQ, which enable the NPS to immediately award and execute the project work. This notice of intent is not a request for expressions of interest or to request proposals. A determination by the NPS not to open this requirement to recompete the pricing and qualifications for completion of the project work is solely within the discretion of the NPS.
