RECOVERY - Alt/Repair/Rehab Carson Adult Fish CrowdersAMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROJECTTHIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE SOLE SOURCE PROVIDER: Five Rivers Construction Inc. of Longview WA. This is not a solicitation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Carson National Fish Hatchery (NFH), 14041 Wind River Hwy, Carson WA 98610-3126 is under an emergency requirement for the alteration/repair/rehabilitation of the West and East Adult Fish Crowders in the spawning facility: specifically base work emergency repair under Phase 1 within the timeframe outlined (West Crowder by June 4, 2010, and East Crowder by June 11, 2010); and optional Phase II (subject to funds availability) for permanent repair and rehab of both crowders at the end of Chinook Salmon spawning season (approximately September 30, 2010), within 120 days of a Notice to Proceed. Task Order 10181RY637, under Alteration/Repair/Rehabilitation/Demolition Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract 101819D445, for ARRA Project 4151-R!PG, and Treasury Accounting Symbol: TAS::1409 1610::TAS. This ARRA project was awarded on May 27, 2010 to Fiver Rivers Construction Inc., 1331 Baltimore Street, Longview WA 98610-3126 under funding for Phase I amounting to $49,500.00. Under the terms and conditions of the Fish and Wildlife Service procurement instrument Alteration/Repair/Rehabilitation/Demolition Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract an emergency procurement from sole sources without further competition are permitted. Five Rivers Construction Incorporated, was able to meet FWS requirements, under the IDIQ . The statutory authority used is 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy the agency requirements as outlined above.
