This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intend to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Applied Biosystems. The purpose of this procurement is for maintenance on Genetic Lab Equipment: Genetic Analyzers 3130-16 and 3130-4. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 10:00 a.m. EST on 03/22/2011.
