Modification of Synopsis to Exercise Options on Weed Spraying Services for the Provo River Restoration Project

The purpose of this announcement is to modify a synopsis that was previously submitted to FedBizOpps on 8 April 2010. The changes are as follows: 1. The Weed Spraying Services contract (awarded as R10PC40038) was procured as a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. 2. The contract was a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a Base Year and Four One-Year Options and included FAR Clause 52.217-9, "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract." 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730. The SBA size standard is $7.0 million. The Government anticipates exercising Option Year Three for the period of performance of 1 April 2013 through 31 March 2014 and also has the option to exercise Option Year Four for an additional 12 months for a total contract period of up to five years.
