Z -- Wilmington, NC; Replace Electrical System at U.S. Coast Guard LORSTA Carolina Beach.

Provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment, and supervision required to replace electrical system at the U.S. Coast Guard Loran Station (LORSTA) Carolina Beach, Wilmington, NC. Work includes the following: Provide 1-225A, 2P breaker at main switchgear in Administration Building to feed barracks’ existing 225A, 2P breaker in multipurpose building; provide 1-250A 3P breaker at main switchgear in Administrative Building to feed new 250A, 3P breaker in multipurpose building; disconnect and remove all existing switches and 120V receptacles and their associated wire and conduit; disconnect and remove existing floor mounted main distribution panel, panel D and panel L and their associated wire and conduit; provide new 250A, 3P main breaker to feed new 208/120V, main distribution panel (MDP). Reroute 8 existing outgoing circuits from existing panel D to new panel MDP through new wire way (size as required) and connect; provide a new panel L to feed new switches, receptacles, 5 luminaries, emergency and exit luminaries and existing luminaries; disconnect and remove the existing fire alarm system and provide a new addressable fire alarm system; provide harsh environment smoke detectors above suspended ceiling areas. The existing fire alarm system shall be maintained in service during the installation of the new system. The tower lights must remain operational during all nighttime hours and daylight interruptions must be kept to a minimum. The VHF-FM site must remain operational except for coordinated outages. The contractor is responsible for maintaining power outside coordinated power outages. Period of performance is 140 DANTP. This procurement is estimated between $25K and $100K. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.0M.
