SEASTAR FISHERIES INFORMATION SERVICE

The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement (under FAR authority 6.302) to GeoEye, 21700 Atlantic Blvd., Dulles, VA 20166 for the following: Annual subscription to SeaStar Fisheries Information Service. SeaStar Fisheries Information Service provides satellite oceanography and fishing information service which is used by commercial fisherman to improve the efficiency, productivity and safety of their fishing operations. The NAICS Code for this procurement 519190. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with GeoEye.
