Intent to Sole Source The US Coast Guard Director of Logistics (DOL-94), Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source contract to Advanced Measurement Technology (AMETEK), to provide Repairs to Two (2) Micro-Detective-HX Hand Held Radioisotope Identifiers, Model HPRDS3-KT, owned by the US Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics, Portsmouth, VA. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by Other Than Full and Open Competition is citations 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supply/service will satisfy requirements. The determination has been made to limit competition to Advanced Measurement Technology (AMETEK), whom is the manufacturer of the proprietary products. This is a sole source notice, published for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposal. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement by 2:00 PM Eastern, 14 May 2021, that provides sufficient details in meeting the manufacturers specifications, for consideration by the Agency, via email to:
