Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The USSS has a need for cleaning and maintenance services for their racking console system located in the Joint Operations Center Due to the unique design and configuration of the consoles and their integration with technology in the Joint Operations Center (JOC); a cleaning and maintenance contract is required to maintain hygiene and optimal functionality of this investment as the space is in use 24/7. A request was made to acquire a quarterly cleaning and maintenance contract by Evans Federal for one year with three option years of quarterly cleaning and maintenance. Preventative maintenance and cleaning services performed by any vendor other than Evans will void the existing 10-year warranty of the racking console furniture components. No other third-party vendor is certified to repair Evans racking console components. Sole source justifications have been provided for all contracts associated to the racking consoles and subsequent maintenance/cleaning requests.
