U.S. Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics Forecast

The U.S. Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics Chief of Contracting DOL-9 posts upcoming requirements in the Acquisition Planning and Forecast System (APFS) at http://apfs.dhs.gov/ We encourage all businesses interested in doing business with the Coast Guard to regularly review the APFS site. Requirements over $250,000 are posted in APFS early in the contracting process and before solicitations are posted on Beta.Sam.Gov. APFS gives businesses an opportunity to know what requirements are upcoming and when, the scale and general scope of the project, and the points of contact for additional information. For businesses interested in doing business with our office at DOL-9, we consist of four (4) operational branches organized by function: DOL-92, Emergency Services Contracting Operations Branch that performs Oil Spill, Earthquake, Hurricane, HAZMAT Emergency,Response contracting; COOP Planning; and Support for Incident Command System efforts. DOL-93 that performs Base Operating Support services (BOSS), Security, Grounds Maintenance, Janitorial Services, Food Service, etc. DOL-94 that performs Purchasing, Interagency Agreements, and Utilities and Simplified Acquisitions (under)$250,000); and Supplies DOL-95 Operations Branch that performs contracts for supplies and services for requirements not associated with "routine base services" to include contracts for buoys, lanterns, and other aids to navigation.
