Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC-East) Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source contract to TSI, Inc. to provide Annual Calibration, Repair and Testing (in accordance to the manufacturer specifications) of PortaCount Respirator Fit Tester, Model(s) 8030 and 8038 owned by the U. S. Coast Guard Base Portsmouth, VA. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by Other than Full and Open Competition is citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is 2/18 - 1/31/19 A determination has been made to limit competition to TSI, Inc. whom is the manufacturer of the proprietary product. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes ONLY and not a request for competitive proposal. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement.
