FCI Otisville Special Notice - Justification for other than full and open competition - Muffin Monster Grinder

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304c)(1)- FAR 6.302-1(b)(2)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to JWC Environmental, LLC via GP Jager Inc. The scope of the requirement is to replace the auger monster (Muffin Monster) unit inside an already existant system. The location is at the FCI Otisville, NY. JWC Environmental is the manufacturer of this product and the only company authorized to handle the replacement parts for whole systems. The requirement will be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and implemented at FCI Otisville. The NAICS code for this requirement is 221320. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. A request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement.
