The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source one-time Purchase Order, firm fixed price to Cecil’s Tractors, Inc. Company Address: 763 James Madison Highway Warrenton, VA 20186-3831 ordering period from the date of award. The FBI requires this one-time Purchase Order to acquire Ventrac Mower by Venture Products, Inc. it will be used for the upkeep of the FBI Academy campus. It will be used to cut on slopes, wet land areas, ditch lines, retention ponds, also can be used for snow removal on sidewalks. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304 (a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1entitled, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.beta.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. A Justification will be made available on request. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1 (3). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and proposal, quotes, which shall be considered by the agency. All capability statements or quotes shall be submitted to the Contracting Specialist, Christopher Hamilton by email. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
