62 -- Replace various T-12 lamps & ballast with T-8 lamps & electronic ballast

(1)Replace various T-12 lamps & ballast with T-8 lamps & electronic ballast for 1000 + fixtures at USDA-ARS-CMAVE,1700 SW23rd Dr.,Gainesville,FL facility. Current light levels must be maintained. An engineering analysis detailing electric demand & energy saving calculation is required based on 8hr weekday use. Other lighting systems energy savings tech options such as motion sensors & lower wattage lamps are encourage if engineering analysis can show justification for additional expense. Minimum 5 yr warranty on ballast required.Must include cost for recycling old lamps & ballasts in accordance with current EPA regulations. Cost per fixture & rated life of lamps to be used is requested. (2)Replace 33 exit signs with LED battery back-up exit signs. THIS RFQ IS RE-ADVERTISED TO REFLECT NAICS 238210 ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS.
