Y -- Construction of a cast-in-place retaining wall with a concrete masonry unit overlook wall.

Project consists of the construction of a cast-in-place retaining wall (approximately 130 lineal feet) with a concrete masonry unit overlook wall. The constructed walls will be faced with approximately 900 square feet of facia stone. The work further includes excavation, minor clearing, removal of existing chain link fence, and placement of aggregate. Access to the site is limited and trail type construction equipment will be necessary; work will be adjacent to a vertical cliff that is a major safety concern. Work is expected to begin on or about September 3, 2002 and must be completed within 45 calendar days. Estimate Price Range: Less than $100,000. Payment protection shall be required upon award in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. This procurement is 100 percent unrestricted.
