The Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services, of the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) Number FNS-03-003-JTR on or about March 28, 2003 for nationwide administrative support services as part of their A-76 competitive Sourcing effort. This procurement will contain one base year and four option years. The projected period of performance for the firm requirement will be 12-months beginning on or about October 1, 2003. The option periods are expected to be successive 12-month periods. This effort is currently planned as a Total Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 561110 (Office Administrative Services). The Small Business Size Standard is $6M average annual gross revenue over the firm’s preceding three fiscal years.The solicitation will be available through the World Wide Web: it will be the prospective contractor’s responsibility to have the necessary electronic media to download the solicitation. A limited number of solicitation (Hard Copy) packages will be available for pick-up at the below address on or about March 28, 2003. They will be released on a first come first serve basis at scheduled times during normal core work hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m EST.
