Description
The U.S. Vegetable Laboratory (USVL) is seeking sources to provide calibration (once a year) and comprehensive maintenance (Quarterly) on Steris sterilizers/equipment in line with the original manufacturer recommendations. Contractor must provide adequate records indicating of their capacity to work on the equipment. The records must contain a minimum of 5 years of work on these type of sterilizers/equipment listed below. The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts/materials, travel, personnel, supervision, freight, and OEM non-refurbished parts for both scheduled (preventive) and unscheduled (corrective) maintenance for the following Steris equipment: 60 INCH CENTURY VAC 480V SD LH CAB Serial#013200601, Fulton Generator 65KW 220V 50 HZ 3PH CE MARK Serial#102673, 20X20X38 CENTURY GRAV STR Serial#010100218, and 20 INCH CENTURY GP SD 208V CAB PWR VERT DR. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Please provide three reference of companies you service or have serviced of this type of equipment, please give the name of company, address and POC phone number. This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiation to award a contract. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
