This is an announcement of the General Services Administration’s Federal Technology Service (FTS) streamlined competition. FTS is conducting three streamlined competitions in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003. The following streamlined competitions are being conducted: financial operations for Regional Information Technology, (18 FTE, located in Philadelphia, PA; Kansas City, MO; Ft. Worth, TX; San Francisco, CA; and Atlanta, GA); financial operations for Local Telecommunications (51 FTE in Atlanta, GA; Kansas City, MO; Ft. Worth, TX; Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; Philadelphia, PA; Fairview Hts, IL; Roanoke, VA; and Washington, DC); financial operations for National Programs (43 FTE in Fairfax, VA; Alexandria, VA; and Fairview Hts, IL). These services are currently provided by Government personnel. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. No solicitation exists at this time. The solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities if and when it is released.
