The National Administrative Services and Office Supplies Acquisition Center (2QSA), Office Products Acquisition Branch (2QSAB) proposes to expand the offerings under Schedule 67 to include complex analog, digital and broadband cameras and sophisticated support equipment and systems not currently available in any procurement vehicle. This NEW SIN also incorporates new technologies and methodologies currently in use commercially as well as in the Civilian and Military marketplaces. This business model incorporates sales, customization and/or leasing of photographic imaging equipment, systems, and professional services that support traditional recording and documentation but specifically excludes test and scientific lab and law enforcement applications. Equipment includes computer-assisted cameras, high speed instrumentation cameras and optics and recording equipment and mounting gear. Complex and sophisticated communications and data capture not used in test or law enforcement missions are included. Broadcast studio equipment in support of major civilian and military customer initiatives is included unless used for test or scientific applications. These professional communications applications exclude scientific research and electro-optical engineering and cameras and equipment used in Law Enforcement and surveillance. Cameras and support equipment apply to on-going Federal initiatives in Nuclear, Environmental, Commerce, Energy, Military, Biomedical, and other well established basic technical end user applications. This SIN includes but is not limited to products and services and new technologies that are traditionally used in support of major industrial arenas such as Avionics, Photonics, Geospatial Instrumentation, Optics, and Biometrics. Products (cameras, mounting and positioning systems and capture technology may be purchased or, in some cases, leased. Some equipment is only available for lease. Professional services are limited to enhanced development and customization of off-the-shelf camera, optical, recording and image management equipment and systems. Specialized analog and digital equipment include but are not limited to high speed, underwater (excluding underwater surveillance gear) and terrestrial cameras, telescopes, binoculars, Mirrors/Refractors, Lens and ReproOptics, High Speed Instrumentation Cameras and accessories including mounting equipment and computer-assisted control systems.
