Description

Construction of CAT II ILS and ALSF-2, Runway 32R, Eppley Airfield, O= maha, NE. This project generally consists of, but is not limited to the fo= llowing: 1. Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the su= bject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 2. Install ALSF-2 = cabling. 3. Furnish and install aggregate for road and building plot. 4. Fu= rnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES) and 1,000 gallon diesel fuel= storage tank. 5. Furnish and install reinforced foundations and 40' x 32' = pre-manufactured steel ALSF-2 building. 6. Install Government furnished 175= kW engine generator and electrical equipment. 7. Intall Government furnish= ed lighting system. 8. Furnish and install low impact resistant (LIR) masts= , cabling, and enclosures. 9. Install Government furnished ALSF-2 equipment= in ATCT equipment room and cab. 10. Perform site work for installation of = the MK-20A localizer (LOC) system and Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) 11= . Perform site work for installation of the MK-20A glide slope (GS) system.= 12. Perform site work for the installation of the inner marker (IM) facili= ty and first far field monitor (FFM). 13. Perform site work for the install= ation of the middle marker (MM) facility and second FFM. 14. Perform site w= ork for the installation of the Runway Visual Range Visibility Sensors (RVR= VS) at the touchdown (TD), centerfield (CF), and rollout (RO) sites. 15. R= estore all sites to previous condition, install erosion control measures to= protect ditches and inlets, and implement and maintain a quality control p= lan to ensure contract compliance.
